MilligramLab

Editorial team

Last updated November 8, 2026

MilligramLab is written and checked by an editorial team rather than by individual bylined authors. This page explains what that means in practice.

How a page is produced

Research. Claims are gathered with their original sources. Secondary sources are traced back to the primary study wherever one exists.

Verification. Each figure is checked against the cited document. Where a number appears across many sites but has no traceable origin, it is marked as untraceable rather than repeated.

Grading. Claims are assigned Strong, Limited or None according to the methodology.

Safety check. Pages covering dosage, interactions, contraindications, or at-risk groups receive an additional pass focused on regulatory sources: FDA labels, FDA safety communications, and MedlinePlus.

Limits worth stating

We are not a clinical service and do not employ practising clinicians to review individual pages. Our work is documentary: we report what regulators and published research say, with the citations attached so you can check them.

For anything concerning your own health, medication, or a specific condition, a pharmacist or physician who knows your history is the right source. We say this on every page because it is true on every page.

Corrections

Found an error, a broken citation, or a figure that does not match its source? Tell us the page, the passage, and what the correct source says. Material corrections are made in the page and the update date is changed.
