About MilligramLab
MilligramLab is a reference for people standing in front of a shelf, or a checkout page, trying to work out which form of a supplement to buy.
That question is poorly served online. The pages that rank for it are mostly written by brands that sell one of the options. The figures they quote tend to come from studies that measured something else, or from nowhere at all.
What we publish
Comparisons. Two forms side by side, with the label maths worked out and the evidence graded.
Dosing and timing. How much, when, what counts toward the upper limit, and how to space doses around medication.
Ingredient profiles. What a substance is, what it has been studied for, and what is known about safety.
How we work
Every number is traced to a named source before it goes on the page. Where a widely repeated claim turns out to be unsupported, we report that rather than repeating it. Our methodology sets out the grading system and source rules in full.
Who writes this
Content is produced and checked by the MilligramLab editorial team. See editorial team for how material is reviewed and corrected.
Independence
We do not sell supplements. Where a page carries advertising, it is labelled and has no influence on what the page concludes.
